Most Frequent Questions

HOW DO I VERIFY MY PROFILE ON THE APP?

On the mobile app, go to the Profile tab, and tap the red pencil. Select Verify your profile, and follow the steps for a photo verification. This image will NOT be posted to your profile, and it may take us a short time to confirm your verification photo.

HOW CAN I EDIT MY PROFILE?

To edit your profile on the mobile app, tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ and then ‘Personal info’. On the website, look for the My Profile tab in the upper right corner.

WHAT ARE THE PHOTO GUIDELINES?

All public photos must be G-rated. So, no explicit photos allowed in your public gallery. Explicit photos should be stored in your private gallery.

G-rated photos include shirtless pics, pants or shorts pulled down with underwear showing, most underwear photos that are not sexually suggestive or contain any visible erections or outline of the butt or genitals. Certain types of swimwear are also acceptable. For more info, please scroll down to the section on Photos.

ONE OF MY CHATS DISAPPEARED?

Looks like the other user deleted his account, or he may have blocked you. Bummer, but life goes on and so does hunting.

HOW CAN I BLOCK SOMEONE?

If you don’t want to communicate with someone, you can block him anytime. Simply select the user’s profile, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then select ‘Block User’.

HOW DO I UNBLOCK SOMEONE?

To unblock a user on the app, tap the Profile tab in the lower right, tap the red pencil, then select ‘Blocked Users’. On the website, go to the My Profile tab in the upper right, then the Blocked Users tab on the left side. You can unblock a single user by clicking on the user’s photo and selecting ‘Unblock User’. To unblock all yours on your Blocked Users list, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and select ‘Unblock all users’.

WHAT IS INVISIBLE MODE?

Invisible mode is a premium feature that allows premium supporters to browse profiles anonymously without leaving a trail on a user’s Visitor’s tab.

Sign Up and Login

I CAN’T LOGIN?

If you need a password reset, select that option and enter your email address. If you don't receive that email, contact us at support@daddyhunt.com. Please make sure that you have the latest version of DADDYHUNT. If so, try force quitting the app by double tapping the Home button on the iPhone or in Settings/Apps/Daddyhunt/Force Quit on Android devices.

WILL I LOSE ALL MY MESSAGES IF I DELETE THE APP?

No, don’t worry. We keep everything stored for when you come back. You only lose all your contacts and messages when you delete your account.

Profiles and Settings

HOW CAN I EDIT MY PROFILE?

To edit your profile on the mobile app, tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ and then ‘Personal info’. On the website, look for the My Profile tab in the upper right corner.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY USERNAME?

To change your username on the mobile app, tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ then ‘Personal info’ and then select ‘USERNAME’. To change your username on the website, select My Profile in the upper corner, then look for the Username field. Enter your new name, and if the username is available, a confirmation message will be provided. If the username is already taken, the system will say ‘Username Already Exists’, and you will need to enter another choice.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

To change your password on the app, just hit the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ then ‘Account’ and then ‘Change password’. On the website, look for the My Profile tab in the upper right corner. Look for Change Password on the left side. In order to change your password, you will need to enter your Old password. If you do not remember your old password, please select ‘Reset password’ instead.

HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?

To reset your password, just tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ then ‘Account’ and then ‘Reset password’. Please note that Email verification will be required to reset your password.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH MY PROFILE?

To change your Email address, just tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ then ‘Account’ and then ‘EMAIL’. Please note that you will be required to enter your current password in order to change your email address.

HOW DO I LOG OUT?

To log out on the mobile app, go to the Profile tab, tap the red pencil, look for Sign out.

HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?

Leaving already? On the mobile app, tap the profile icon and select ‘Edit Profile’, then ‘Privacy’ and ‘Delete Account’. Deleting your account will permanently delete your favorites, messages, etc.. So, think long and hard before selecting ‘Delete Account’.

HOW CAN I CONVERT TO THE METRIC SYSTEM?

Inches and feet have you confused? Then, go to ‘Edit Profile’, then ‘Account’ and ‘Units of Measure’. You can choose between Metric and Imperial units of measure here.

WHAT DOES THE GREEN CIRCLE MEAN?

The green circle on a user’s profile means that the user is currently online.

WHAT IS THE D, H, or M ON THE GRID PROFILE THUMBNAIL?

These tell you if the guy is a Daddy, Hunter, or a Mister.

AM I A DADDY, HUNTER OR MISTER?

  • A ‘Daddy’ is typically the older, more mature partner.
  • A ‘Hunter’ is typically the younger guy looking for older, more mature men.
  • A ‘Mister’ is anyone who is not sure if they are a ‘Daddy’ or a ‘Hunter’.

There are no fast and set rules.

WHAT IS THE DADDYHUNT CODE?

Users have the option to add this code to their profile, to show that they will act with the following actions on our app or website:

  • MATURITY I act like an adult. No games. No attitude.
  • INTEGRITY I live authentically and honestly.
  • SAFETY I will protect my own and my partner's health and will stay informed about the best ways to do that.
  • TRUTH I represent myself accurately online.
  • ENJOYMENT I value mutually pleasurable experiences.
  • RESPECT I treat other members with respect.

This setting can be found under the MY PROFILE edit options.

WHY ARE SOME CATEGORIES MISSING ON OTHER PROFILES? The same categories are available for every user profile. However, each user has the option to select which fields they wish to complete and display on their profile.

Photos

WHAT ARE THE PHOTO GUIDELINES?

All public photos must be g-rated. So, no explicit photos allowed in your public gallery. Explicit photos should be stored in your private gallery.

G-rated photos include shirtless pics, pants or shorts pulled down with underwear showing, most underwear photos that are not sexually suggestive or contain any visible erections or outline of the butt or genitals. Certain types of swimwear are also acceptable.

Prohibited photos include:

  • Photos showing sex or intercourse
  • Objects being inserted (fingers, dildos, carrots, lightbulbs)
  • Bodily fluids (blood, urine, semen) or scat
  • Children under the age of 18 (including photos of yourself)
  • Baby or child photos of any kind, including adult baby photos or diapers
  • URLs or copyrights
  • Posting the image repeatedly
  • Photos showing firearms, acts of violence, racism or hatred towards people or animals
  • Obscene gestures
  • Drug use or any drug paraphernalia
  • Celebrities
  • Advertisements of goods, services or other websites

We are a US-based company and our photo content guidelines were created to comply with Section 2257 of Title 18, United States Code.

HOW DO I UNLOCK MY PRIVATE PHOTOS?

You can grant another profile access to your private photos when messaging with that user. Tap on the message with that specific guy (or start a message with that user), tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then select ‘Grant access to private photos’.

HOW DO I RELOCK MY PRIVATE PHOTOS?

To relock your private photos, tap on the message with the user who you want to relock your photos from, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then select ‘Revoke access to private photos’.

HOW DO I MOVE A PUBLIC PHOTO TO MY PRIVATE GALLERY?

To move a public photo to your private gallery, just tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, then tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ and then ‘Photos’. Select the public photo that you wish to make private, tap the 3 dots in the top right corner and select ‘Make it private photo’.

HOW DO I MOVE A PRIVATE PHOTO TO MY PUBLIC GALLERY?

To move a private photo to your public gallery, just tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, then tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ and then ‘Photos’. Select the private photo that you wish to make public, tap the 3 dots in the top right corner and select ‘Make it public photo’.

REMEMBER, all public photos MUST BE G-RATED photos, so no explicit photos in your public gallery.

CAN I CHANGE THE ORDER OF MY PHOTOS?

To adjust the order of your photos, go to your profile edit option. Select photos, then press and hold an image and move it around to the space you want--then release.

HOW MANY PHOTOS MAY UPLOAD TO MY PROFILE?

If you have a free membership, you may upload up to 6 public photos and up to 4 photos in your private gallery.

Premium users may upload up to 6 public photos and up to 20 photos in their private gallery.

WHY DOES MY PROFILE SAY “NO PHOTOS”?

The “No Photo” message appears for any profiles that have not uploaded a public photo or has only adult-private photos. To change this and have a public profile photo, you must upload an approved G-rated photo.

Communications

WHERE DO I RECEIVE MESSAGES SENT TO ME FROM OTHER USERS?

Incoming messages on the app are sent to your Messages folder, and on the website--look for the Nearby tab, and messages are on the left side. The website does not have a sound alert. Instead, a red dot will appear when a new message comes in.

WHAT ARE SHOUTS?

Are you too shy to send a message to another user you think is hot? Then, send a virtual ‘Shout’ to that user by clicking on the user’s profile and tapping the megaphone at the bottom center of the user’s profile.

HOW DO I DELETE MESSAGES?

To delete a message thread with a user, go to your Messages folder, select the message thread that you wish to delete. On the app, swipe left and tap ‘Delete’ and on the website select the ‘Trash’ icon. You will receive a confirmation asking “Are you sure?” If you are, tap ‘Delete’. If you’ve changed your mind and no longer wish to delete the message thread, tap ‘Cancel’. Note: deleting a message thread on your app does not delete it from the other member’s message folder.

HOW DO I REMOVE OR ADD TO SAVED PHRASES?

To remove existing saved phrases or to add new saved phrases, go to your Messages folder, select a message in the folder, at the bottom of the screen tap the bubble, your existing Saved Phrases will appear as a scrollable list. To remove or add to this list, tap ‘Edit’. To remove an existing Saved Phrase, tap the ‘X’ next to the phrase and it will be deleted. To add a new phrase, write your new phrase, tap ‘Add’ and then tap ‘Save’ in the top right corner. Your Saved Phrases list is now updated.

Please note that saved phrases appear in the order that they are entered, so new phrases will always be at the bottom of your scrollable list.

Favorites

WHAT ARE FAVORITES?

Favorites are generally users that you select because you like their profiles and/or enjoy communicating with them.

HOW DO I ADD A USER TO MY FAVORITES LIST?

To add a user to your Favorites list, select the user’s profile, tap the Daddy icon on the bottom left of the selected user’s profile and then tap the Star next to ‘Add to Favorites’.

HOW DO I REMOVE A USER FROM MY FAVORITES LIST?

To remove a user from your Favorites list, go to your Favorites list by tapping the Star at the bottom of the screen, select the user’s profile, tap the Daddy icon on the bottom left of the selected user’s profile and then tap the Star next to ‘Remove from Favorites’.

Invisible Mode

WHAT IS INVISIBLE MODE?

HOW DO I TURN ON/OFF INVISIBLE MODE?

To turn on/off invisible mode, just tap the profile icon in the lower right corner, then tap the red pencil, select ‘Edit Profile’ and then ‘Privacy’. To turn invisible mode on, tap the button next to Invisible mode or swipe right until it turns red. To turn it off, tap the button or swipe left until it turns black.

Premium Membership

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP?

Premium membership on Daddyhunt gives your more features to showcase yourself and to find your perfect match including seeing who visited your profile, unlimited chat history, ad-free browsing, more guys on your grid, up to 20 photos or videos in your private gallery, send and receive videos, browse in secret, travel feature and premium filters to help find your perfect match.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP PURCHASED ON THE APP STORE OR GOOGLE PLAY STORE?

You can cancel your Premium membership at anytime.

To cancel on an iOS device, go to the App Store, login with your Apple ID, tap view Apple ID, scroll down to ‘Subscriptions’ and select ‘Manage Subscriptions’. Select ‘Daddyhunt’ and set the auto-renewal to ‘Off’ or select ‘Unsubscribe’.

To cancel your subscription on an Android device, open the Google Play Store app, Search for Daddyhunt and select ‘Cancel’ or ‘Unsubscribe’.

Please note that payment for Premium subscriptions are charged to your iTunes or Android accounts at the point of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the current subscription period. Deleting the app and/or your account does not cancel your subscription.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP PURCHASED ON THE DADDYHUNT WEBSITE?

If you purchased a premium membership on our website using CCBill, our billing processor, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

Reporting

HOW DO I REPORT SOMEONE?

If you feel like a person is a fake, a scammer, an escort or is harassing/threatening you, you should report them to our Customer Service team. Tap on the user’s profile and then hit the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then select ‘Report User’. You can either pick one of the provided reasons or write one yourself.

You may also email us at support@daddyhunt.com. Please include as many details as possible, including detailed description of activity, date, time, location, your username, the offender’s username and any additional information you believe will help us during an investigation.
